Monitoring and connectivity where standard infrastructure falls short.

Design of IoT and telemetry solutions for remote equipment, halls, farms and off-grid sites — from sensors and connectivity to dashboards and alarms. Each solution is built around what needs measuring, where the site is and how it is powered — not around one catalogue product.

When Connect makes sense

  • A remote site has no reliable internet connection.
  • A hall or farm needs monitoring and alarms.
  • Equipment is spread over a large area.
  • Operating data has to be collected from places without stable connectivity.
  • GSM or Wi-Fi is unsuitable or unreliable on site.
  • A fault needs to be known before someone notices it on site.

What we design and deliver

IoT monitoring

Deciding what to measure and where — temperatures, levels, flows, equipment states, consumption — based on what the operation actually needs to know.

LoRa / LoRaWAN / mesh

A communication layer for remote sensors: long range at low power, with a topology matched to the terrain and the layout of measuring points.

Telemetry and operating data

Regular transfer of field data to the backend, designed around measurement intervals and connection dropouts.

Alarms

Thresholds, states and outages raised as alarms — depending on who has to react, and how fast.

Backend and dashboard

Connecting sensor → communication → backend → dashboard so the data is clear and usable, not just stored.

Off-grid sites

Power and operation designed for places without mains or stable connectivity — including local logic and alarms that work without internet.

Link to I&C and energy

Connect builds on Industrial — instrumentation, PLC and SCADA. Data from the Connect layer can feed into Energy solutions for monitoring and analysing consumption and power.

How a solution is put together

  1. Sensor
  2. Local communication
  3. Gateway / edge
  4. Backend
  5. Dashboard and alarm

Connect is not tied to one brand or one hardware stack. Specific components are chosen only once the site conditions and operating requirements are known.

How we design the solution

  1. 01
    What to measure

Quantities, measuring points, accuracy — and what the operation should get out of them.

  2. 02
    Which communication fits

Range, terrain, interference and the number of points decide between LoRa/LoRaWAN, mesh or another layer.

  3. 03
    How the site is powered

Mains, battery or solar — depending on consumption and what is available on site.

  4. 04
    Where the data goes

Backend, storage and who needs access to the data.

  5. 05
How alarms and the dashboard work

Thresholds, escalation, notifications and an overview for operators and management.

  6. 06
    How the solution is piloted

A small pilot on a real site before rolling out to the whole facility.

Need monitoring where standard infrastructure falls short?

Start with a technical analysis of the site, or send a brief. Pilot scope and price depend on the site, number of points, range, power supply and the dashboard you need.

Technical analysis from €290 excl. VAT: current status, solution options, risks, recommended architecture, scope of further work and an indicative budget.
